Real results match theory almost exactly. That is hard to square with a rigged game. It also means there is no usable bias beyond banker coming up slightly more often.
Runs of the same side lasting 6 hands or more appeared 45,568 times (about once per shoe), and 10 hands or more 2,706 times (about once every twenty shoes). The feeling that a streak is due to break has no basis in the data. The next hand does not remember the last one.
We picked rules like "after this pattern, bet banker" from an earlier period, then applied them unchanged to later data they had never seen. Among the top rules from the earlier period, none made money (positive expected value) in the later period, and early and later results were essentially unrelated. The "90% accuracy" in prediction software ads is usually a number fitted to past data.
It cannot predict, but it keeps what people are worst at keeping: fixed amounts and steps, a stop line and non-stop watching.
