Pragmatic Play baccarat tables, a 7-point checklist from 27-second Speed rounds to the 15:1 Super 6
2026-11-02
Click Pragmatic Play in the provider row of a live casino lobby and a new set of table tiles fills the screen. Speed Baccarat, Mega Baccarat, Fortune 6: the names alone do not tell what changes from one table to the next.
A few checks are enough before picking a Pragmatic Play baccarat table. The seven below come only from Pragmatic Play's own website and press releases. Site rankings are not covered.
1.The table name tells the rules
Variant table: basic baccarat plus a device such as multipliers, dice or another deck, named after it.
Pragmatic Play launched Baccarat and Speed Baccarat together in March 2020 and has added variants one by one since. Tables in the same lobby pay in different ways.
2.Seven things to check before sitting at a Pragmatic table
One, read the name for a variant
In Mega Baccarat a Mega Round starts when the dice show eight or nine, and a winning bet can return up to 1,000 times the payout, according to the 2023 release. Any other dice result means a normal round.
Fortune 6 and Super 8 came out in July 2022, each with its own side bet. Amazing Baccarat builds on Speed Baccarat and draws five Lucky Cards every round.
Seotda Baccarat, released in May 2026, uses a 20-card Hwatu deck in which each card stands for a month from January to October. Player and Banker get two cards each with no third card, so the usual third-card table does not apply here. Three Bright cards carry their own side bets.
A table with a device in its name does not follow the plain baccarat rule sheet as it is.
Two, check the speed
Pragmatic Play announced that a Speed Baccarat round takes 27 seconds, betting time is 12 seconds, and the cards are dealt face up as soon as betting ends (2020 release). At 27 seconds that is about 133 rounds an hour (calculation).
The same figures appear in the January and February 2022 releases.
Public material does not confirm that every Speed table still uses the same seconds today.
Three, check whether No Commission mode is on
The website says No Commission Baccarat mode is available at all tables and can be switched on at any time (Live Casino). Tables start in Regular Mode, and the Super 6 button on screen changes the mode.
On the same table the banker payout depends on the mode, so look at which mode is on first. The releases do not describe the banker payout in No Commission mode, so check the paytable in the in-game help.
Four, run the numbers on side bets
Super 6 pays 15 to 1 when the Banker beats the Player with 6 points, and every other result loses. With 8 decks, the banker wins with 6 points 5.39% of the time (8 decks assumed, the releases give no deck count).
That means a $10 bet on Super 6 loses about $1.38 on average each time (expected value -13.82%, calculation). With the same 8 decks, Banker in Regular Mode is -1.06% (5% commission assumed) and Player is -1.24%.
Amazing 8s in Amazing Baccarat is listed at up to 66,000 to 1, but its odds are not published.
A top payout figure alone does not give the expected value.
Five, find the minimum and maximum bet inside the table
Pragmatic Play's releases and website give no minimum or maximum bet for its baccarat tables. Check the limit shown on the table screen and in the help after entering.
Six, check whether the table is for one player
Privé Lounge Baccarat seats one player at a time. Through chat the player can ask for a dealer change, a reshuffle, a shoe change or a longer session (up to 90 minutes), and the Deal Now button sets the pace (Privé Lounge).
Seven, check the licence numbers
If doubts come up about whether the game is rigged, start with the licences.
The footer of the Pragmatic Play website lists Great Britain Gambling Commission account number 56015 and Gibraltar licence RGL No. 107, and says the provider is regulated in both places.
A provider's licence does not stand in for the site's own licence. That split is covered in baccarat site game providers.
3.The round on screen is 1.5 to 2 seconds late
The website says the video reaches the player's screen as little as 1.5 to 2 seconds after the studio (conditions apply). That much of a 12-second betting window is shown late.
A chip placed right at the deadline may not be accepted because of this delay.
Place chips while there is still time left.
4.Reading the website's numbers
The 98.76% RTP on the site's Baccarat page is for 'Baccarat Slot Demo', not a live table.
Q.Is Pragmatic Play Speed Baccarat betting time still 12 seconds?
A.12 seconds is the figure from the 2020 and 2022 releases. Check the table screen to see whether every table still uses it.
Q.Where is No Commission mode switched on?
A.With the Super 6 button on screen. The website says it can be switched on at any table at any time.
Q.Is Super 6 at 15:1 a good bet?
A.With 8 decks the expected value is -13.82%. The deck count is assumed, so check the help.
Q.Does Seotda Baccarat draw a third card?
A.No. It compares two cards each from a 20-card Hwatu deck.
