The green light comes on, a chip is picked and the betting spot is clicked. The plan was two clicks, it took three, and the light at the top of the screen is already turning yellow. It is a common moment in live baccarat.
Whether that bet can be pulled back depends on the colour of that light. Can you cancel a bet at that point, or later? We split it into four cases and compared them using only what the game rules and the regulator's standard say.
The Evolution baccarat rules say the on-screen traffic lights show the state of the round. Green means bets can be placed, yellow means betting time is nearly over, and red means betting time has expired.
Betting time: the part of a round when chips can be placed and changed. It closes when the light turns red.
Every tool for taking a bet back in the rules is a button used inside that betting time. The rules list no button for a player to withdraw a bet after the red light.

The UNDO button removes the last bet placed. Pressed again and again, it removes bets one by one in the reverse order they were placed, and holding it clears every bet in the round.
The keyboard works too.
CTRL+Z, DELETE and BACKSPACE remove the last bet, and holding one of them for 3 seconds removes all bets, according to the shortcut table.
REPEAT places all bets from the previous round again, and it is only there before the first chip of the new round. DOUBLE doubles every bet on the table, and it needs enough balance to double all of them.
The rules do not say in what steps UNDO removes bets placed in one go by REPEAT or DOUBLE. After undoing, check the TOTAL BET figure, which shows the total of this round.

With a green or yellow light, the player removes bets with UNDO. It is the only case where nothing has to be asked of the site.
There is one trap.
The rules say that minimising the browser or opening another tab while betting time remains and bets are on the table may be treated as leaving the game, and those bets may be declined for that round. That is a cancellation the player did not choose.
There is no undo after the red light.
The UK Gambling Commission's technical standard RTS 10 says that once a gamble has been received and the customer can no longer influence the outcome, the result should stand.
The rules give no basis for asking customer support to reverse a bet after the light turned red.
Under error handling, the rules say that if there is an error in the game, system or procedure, the round is paused and players are told by chat or a pop-up message. If it is fixed at once, the round goes on.
If it cannot be fixed at once, the round is cancelled and initial bets are refunded to everyone in it. Another part of the rules says any malfunction voids the round and its payouts, and bets are returned.
RTS 10 also requires systems that can void gambles and return the stake. This is the kind of cancellation the player does not choose.
A dropped connection on the player's side works the other way.
The rules say bets already placed remain valid and are settled while the player is away. A disconnection does not cancel a bet.
RTS 10 asks for interruptions in games with many players to be handled fairly case by case, and requires sites to publish their interruption policy (10C). Anyone who drops out often should find and read that policy on their site.

First, when the light turns yellow, stop adding chips and look at TOTAL BET. That is the last chance to fix anything.
Second, rooms with short betting time leave less time to fix mistakes. How speed differs between rooms is covered in our baccarat site game types post.
If gambling feels hard to control, local help lines are listed on the gambling regulator's site in each country.

Hiddenpick is a Windows program that keeps on its server the betting rules that pick owners do not make public, and runs them as they are on the PC of the person who received them through a referral code. It currently runs on Evolution live baccarat at Stake (stake.com). The order in which the program enters rooms and places bets is in the baccarat bot guide.
