1.Two places a bet is recorded

A live baccarat bet is not recorded in one place only. It shows up inside the game screen and again on the account pages of the site that opened the game.

Game history window: the window inside the game provider's screen that lists the rounds played and their results.

Account statement: the page where the site lists deposits, withdrawals, bets and settlements by date.

The game window works round by round, and the account statement works by money movement. Reading both together shows which round changed the balance by how much.

2.Reading the HISTORY window in the game

Evolution's baccarat rules say the HISTORY button opens a window with every round played and its result. The window has two parts.

ACCOUNT HISTORY lists dates, games, bet amounts and payouts. The most recently finished round comes first, and older rounds sit further down. A player who moved between several tables in a day sees the game names mixed in this list, stacked by date.

GAME HISTORY opens by clicking one game in the GAME column.

It gathers only the rounds played in that game.

The GAME NUMBER on every round

According to the rules, each round has a unique GAME NUMBER. The number reflects the time the round began in Greenwich Mean Time, down to the hour, minute and second.

Korea is nine hours ahead of GMT, so adding nine hours to the time in the number gives the local time of the round. For example, a number showing 13:05 is a round that began at 22:05 Korean time (an illustration).

The rules advise quoting this number, or taking a screenshot showing it, when asking customer service about a particular round. One number is faster than describing when and what was bet.

After a disconnection

If the connection drops during a round, bets already placed stay valid and are settled in the player's absence. On reconnecting, the round's result can be seen in the HISTORY window, the rules say. Right after reconnecting, it is more accurate to check in the history window how that round was settled than to judge from the balance figure alone.

3.How far back a site has to show

Apart from the game window, the site's account statement follows the rules of the site's licence. The UK Gambling Commission's remote technical standard RTS 1 is one example.

Customers must have easy access to at least three months of account and gambling history without contacting the site. At least twelve months must be provided on request, and customers must be told that they can ask.

The history includes deposits, withdrawals, movement of money between products and bonuses. It also covers bets, their results and winnings paid.

For products with many rounds, such as casino games, a site that cannot list every round must at least show the last game in detail with summaries of earlier activity, and when a customer picks a period, the total for that period goes on the first screen.

Net deposits, meaning money put in minus money taken out, must also be viewable. If lifetime figures are not available, the figure must at least cover the period from April 1, 2018, or from the opening date for accounts opened after that.

Another item asks that, while logged in, the game and payment screens show the current balance in the account currency.

4.Keeping a copy on your side

Site pages can change at any time, so download or screenshot the account statement once a month. Writing down just that month's net deposit figure is enough to see the trend. How to read withdrawal records is covered in the baccarat site withdrawal post.
