Live casino chat, what the dealer chat box allows and what gets it switched off, from the game rule sheets
2026-11-05
Three things first
- Live casino chat at a baccarat table is a public window that the dealer and every player at the table can read
- The game rule sheets say chat privileges are disabled for abusing the presenter or other players
- Hiding other players' messages and muting the dealer's voice are settings, and they are saved to the profile
1.Three things people mean by casino chat
On a baccarat site, chat usually means one of three things. The table chat inside the game, the support chat run by the site, and group rooms in messenger apps outside the site.
Table chat: the box inside a live baccarat screen for sending messages to the dealer and the players at that table.
This article is about the first.
The window is run by the game studio, so its rules sit in the game's rule sheet. Support chat follows the site's terms, and section 4 looks at the third.
2.The chat rules in the game rule sheets
Sending a message and handling the window
The Chat section of Evolution's baccarat rules is short. Messages can go to the dealer and other players; type in the CHAT field and press Enter or the arrow inside the field to post (Evolution baccarat rules).
The CHAT button enlarges or closes the window.
When chat gets switched off
The Baccarat Squeeze and Blackjack rule sheets from the same host carry one more sentence. Players who abuse the presenter or other players, or use inappropriate or offensive language, have their chat privileges disabled(Baccarat Squeeze rules).
The plain baccarat sheet leaves that sentence out of its Chat section. Rule sheets are written per game, so the help page at the table being played is the one to read.
Nothing in the rule sheets says betting is blocked when chat is disabled.
What the settings control
The GENERAL tab in Settings hides or shows other players' chat messages. The SOUND tab mutes the dealer's voice and the game sound separately. The chat window itself can be resized and moved anywhere on the screen, so it can be pushed aside when it covers the scorecards.
Chosen settings are stored to the profile and apply from any device after logging in. Chat hidden on a phone stays hidden on a PC.
Chat at a one-player table
Pragmatic Play's Prive Lounge seats one player per table. There, the chat box is used to ask for a dealer change, extend the session up to 90 minutes, and request a reshuffle or a new shoe (Prive Lounge).
We did not find a rule sheet sentence saying such requests are taken through chat at shared tables.
3.What to check before posting
Anything typed in chat is seen by the dealer and the other players at that table.
Account IDs and cashier problems belong with support, where a record is kept. For a question about one round, use the GAME NUMBER. The rules say to quote the number given to each round, or send a screenshot showing it, to Customer Service.
When an error pauses a round, the game side announces through chat or an on-screen pop-up that the issue is being checked. How a paused round is handled is in our void round article.
The voice in chat is not always another player. In 2023 the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement allowed celebrity guests at Evolution's studios, talking to players and the presenter verbally and via chat. The approval came with the condition that a guest may not delay or affect game flow(New Jersey order).
4.Table chat and open chat rooms are different things
In Korea, typing baccarat chat into Google suggests baccarat open chat. That phrase points to messenger group rooms, which have nothing to do with the window the game studio runs.
On 23 June 2026 KBS reported on teenagers betting money on mini games in KakaoTalk open chat rooms. When police took voluntary reports for a month, 294 young people said they had gambled (KBS News).
Gambling is restricted or illegal in many places, so check the law where you live. If it feels hard to control, contact a local gambling support service.
Three-line summary
- Table chat is the game studio's window, so its rules are in the Chat section of that game's rule sheet
- Abuse and offensive language cost chat privileges, and questions about a round go to support with the GAME NUMBER
- At a one-player table the chat box takes requests such as a dealer change or a session of up to 90 minutes
