Search for the best online baccarat sites and the first results are ranking tables. Next to number one sit a sign-up button and a large bonus figure, and at the very bottom there are a few lines of small print.

This post does not pick a site. It puts what recommendation posts say next to the places where a player can check those claims directly.

1.Five things best online baccarat sites lists lead with

Ranking tables usually open with licence, game provider, bonus, game speed and the ranking itself. Each claim has a different place to check it.

For a licence, the evidence is the issuing body's public register, not a badge image. Look up the number there and see whether the same company name and domain come up.

The same goes for provider logos. Open the help window inside a table and the payouts and RTP are listed. Evolution's baccarat rules give an optimal RTP of 98.94% on the Banker bet (Evolution baccarat rules).

The number one spot is the only item with nowhere to check it. If the post does not state how it ranked the sites, there is no way to compare.

2.What ad labels and affiliate links tell you

The sign-up buttons in recommendation posts usually carry a referral code at the end of the link. When someone signs up through it, the writer earns a commission.

The US Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guidance says this relationship should be disclosed clearly on the site. Its sample wording is "I get commissions for purchases made through links in this post" (FTC endorsement guidance).

The same guidance notes that readers may not understand the words "affiliate link" to mean the poster is paid. A "Paid link" label right next to the link is treated as adequate.

The closer the label sits to the recommendation, the more likely readers notice the relationship. A post that discloses only in small print at the bottom does the opposite.

An affiliate link does not make a post wrong. It means the ranking may be tied to a commission.

3.Turning bonus wording into the amount you must bet

Wagering requirement: the total to bet before bonus winnings can be withdrawn, as a multiple of the bonus.

The UK Gambling Commission capped this multiple at ten times from 19 January 2026. Its example: a 10 pound bonus at 50 times means 500 pounds of play (UK Gambling Commission).

That cap is a rule for UK licensees. Bonus terms elsewhere can still state larger multiples.

Every number below is an assumption.

Say a player deposits 100 units, gets a 100-unit bonus with a 30 times requirement, and bets 10 units on Banker each hand.

30x on the bonus: 3,000 units, 300 hands
30x deposit plus bonus: 6,000 units, 600 hands
UK cap of 10x: 1,000 units, 100 hands

The same "30x" doubles the betting when it applies to deposit plus bonus. Read the words right before the multiple in the terms first.

Each hand carries the Banker house share of 1.06% (house edge of 1.06%). In the clean shoes we collected, Banker won 50.68% of non-tie hands, in line with the theory.

At 300 hands on the bonus the expected loss is 31.8 units, and at 600 hands on deposit plus bonus it is 63.6 units. At 126 hands an hour in a Speed room, that is a little over 2 hours and close to 5 hours.

Game contribution comes on top.

If baccarat bets count only 10% toward wagering, meeting 3,000 units takes 30,000 units of baccarat bets, or 3,000 hands.

In that case the expected loss is 318 units, more than three times the 100-unit bonus.

Three other lines in the terms matter: the contribution table, the maximum bet per hand while the bonus is active, and the time limit. Many terms say the bonus is removed if either limit is broken.

A bonus amount only shows its real size after multiplying it by the wagering multiple and the contribution rate.

4.Checks a ranking list rarely covers
