Does the same betting method give different results when a person plays it by hand and when a program plays it? The odds do not change. What changes is whether the method is actually carried out as written. Here are the differences, in six parts.
People start to waver after ten hands or so. After a few losses they want to bet more than planned; after a few wins they do not want to stop. A program bets by the same rule at hour twenty as at hand one. Good method or bad, you at least get the result of that method.
Placing chips by hand, you press the wrong amount, miss a hand because betting time ran out, or lose track of which step you are on. Speed tables give you only a few seconds, so it happens more. A program places the planned amount using the table's chip sizes and keeps count of the steps.
A person can follow two or three tables at most. A program watches the 90 or so tables in the lobby at once and joins a matching table within 2 to 4 seconds. Good shapes do not wait long.
Even with take-profit and stop-loss set, people rarely stop there. "A bit more" and "until I win it back" take over. A program stops when it reaches the amount or percentage you set.
People sleep and eat. A program keeps running as long as it is on. That is a strength and a risk: a bad method loses more the longer it runs. That makes choosing where to stop even more important.
The odds of a hand stay the same. The banker comes up about 50.8% of the time and the commission is 5%. A program does not make a method better. It only removes the parts a person used to spoil. So when a program runs it, choose what you bet on more carefully: that choice will be carried out exactly, for a long time.
By hand Program Wavering shaken by streaks same rule every hand Mistakes wrong amount, time, step none Watching 2 to 3 tables 90 or so tables Stopping rarely stops stops where you set Time gets tired keeps running Odds same same
