The numbers first
Courses on building a Bybit trading bot usually open with creating an API key and writing Python. Once the code runs, the exchange's share runs with it.
This post works out that share from the numbers Bybit publishes in its help center and API v5 docs.
Perpetual futures: a futures contract with no expiry. Longs and shorts swap a funding fee at set times.
All the conditions below are assumptions.
API keys can only be created on the website, and a new account may be blocked from creating one for 48 hours after sign-up (creating an API key).
For a non-VIP account, perpetual and futures fees are 0.0550% taker and 0.0200% maker. Spot is 0.1000% for both (Bybit fee structure). Actual rates may vary by region, and the page says to check the My Fee Rate screen after identity verification.
Taker and maker: a market order that fills at once is taker, a limit order resting on the book is maker.
Fees are charged on the position size, leverage included. With 100 USDT at 10x, the fee base is 1,000 USDT.
A 1.1 USDT market round trip is 1.1% of the 100 USDT margin. The price has to move more than 0.11% in the bot's favor just to cover one round trip.

Ten round trips a day for 30 days makes 300 (assumed).
Market orders alone make a month of fees 3.3 times the margin. Even all limit orders come to 1.2 times. One line choosing the order type moves 210 USDT a month.

Funding comes on top. Bybit's formula is position value × funding rate, and with an 8-hour interval it settles at 12AM, 8AM and 4PM UTC (funding fee calculation). When the rate is positive, longs pay shorts, and when it is negative, shorts pay longs.
If the help center's example rate of 0.01% held for a whole month, a 1,000 USDT long would pay 0.1 USDT each time, 0.3 USDT a day and 9 USDT over 30 days.
The BTCUSDT funding rate limits read from Bybit's public API on 14 October were plus and minus 0.333%. At the cap, that is 3.33 USDT per settlement on 1,000 USDT. When a rate hits its limit, settlement switches to once an hour, according to the help center (funding rate explained).
Holding no position at funding time means no funding fee. But a position opened or closed within 5 seconds of funding time may or may not be counted, the same help center says. A bot meant to close just before funding should close well more than 5 seconds early.
The speed of placing orders has a ceiling too. The API v5 docs set two layers of limits (Bybit API rate limits).
600 in 5 seconds averages 120 per second (our arithmetic). Going past the account limit returns retCode 10006, and going past the IP limit returns 403 access too frequent. After a 403, close every connection and wait at least 10 minutes for the block to lift.
Ten round trips a day comes nowhere near these limits. The code that hits them is the kind that polls prices several times a second. Reading the remaining count in the X-Bapi-Limit-Status response header and slowing down is enough.
A BTCUSDT perpetual order needs at least 0.001 BTC and an order value of at least 5 USDT (product info read on 14 October). Key permissions and IP restrictions follow the same order as in our Binance trading bot Q and A.

Bybit has grid bots of its own. Its spot grid bot FAQ says the bot only charges spot trading fees when orders fill, with no other fee for creating it. A grid can have 2 to 200 levels (spot grid bot FAQ).
A futures grid bot pays the same futures fees plus funding. The help center's P&L example takes a 3.344 USDT taker fee at 0.055% out of one grid that bought 0.152 BTC at 18,000 USDT and sold at 22,000 USDT (futures grid bot P&L).
A self-built bot and a Bybit bot use the same fee table. What differs is how many orders go out and of which type.
A Bybit trading bot taking a 1,000 USDT position in and out at market 10 times a day pays 330 USDT in fees a month, or 120 USDT with limit orders only (assumed).
Hiddenpick is a Windows program that keeps on its server the betting rules that pick owners do not make public, and runs them as they are on the PC of the person who received them through a referral code. It currently runs on Evolution live baccarat at Stake (stake.com). How automated betting works in baccarat is in the baccarat bot guide. We are recruiting national pickster representatives, and those selected receive benefits worth $12,000, a one-year pass (apply at hiddenpick.my/pickster).
