Korean Speed Baccarat, a Korean-speaking dealer and a Korean game screen are two separate settings

24 and 47. Those are two numbers from Evolution's 2025 annual report. Live table presenters work in 24 languages, and the game screen text is translated into 47 (annual report, page 15).

The two numbers differ because the spoken language and the displayed text are set separately (Evolution Annual Report 2025). When people look for Korean Speed Baccarat or a Korean baccarat site, it helps to know which of these "Korean" refers to.

1.Three things the word "Korean" can mean

Take apart what people call Korean baccarat and three things show up, each decided by a different party.

Korean screen: buttons, table names and messages shown in Korean. A display setting the player picks
Korean dealer table: a table where the presenter speaks Korean. Its lobby name starts with Korean
Dedicated table: a table rented for one site only. That site decides its language and look

Turning one on does not turn on the others. Each is covered below.

2.Korean screen: a text setting in the game menu

The language of an Evolution game window is chosen in the in-game menu (≡ → Language). When we switched it ourselves on 7 October 2026, the language in the site's address (a path like /ko) had no effect on the game window.

So the site can be in Korean while the game window stays in English. Pick Korean in the game menu instead and even table names switch to Korean.

At that point Speed Baccarat A, an English-speaking table, is also shown under its Korean name. A Korean table name on screen does not mean the presenter speaks Korean.

3.Korean dealer tables: 14 of 93 lobby tables

Our collector recorded 93 tables in one site's Evolution baccarat lobby on 12~13 October. Of these, 14 had Korean in the name.

Korean Speed Baccarat: 9 tables (7 of A~H, plus 2 Korean Speaking Speed Baccarat)
Korean Super Speed: 1 table
Korean editions, 1 each: Lightning, Golden Wealth and Prosperity Tree
Korean Salon Privé: 1 table

Other language-named tables were Japanese 8, Thai 3, Hindi 2 and Spanish/Portuguese 2. In this lobby, Korean had the most tables of any language.

▲ The place in the lobby that tells you the presenter's language is the language tag at the front of the table name.

The annual report says the Riga studio mainly has English-speaking presenters, and that Malta has teams running native-language tables for markets such as Denmark and Sweden. It does not say which studio hosts the Korean tables.

Evolution has, however, posted a job for a Korean-speaking presenter in Burnaby, Canada, hosting blackjack and baccarat on camera (job post). It asks for fluent Korean and working English.

Korean Speed Baccarat: a Speed Baccarat table run in Korean. The word Korean in the name refers to the spoken language.

We compared the rules side using real records. From 9 September to 13 October, across 36,526 clean shoes with no missing hands, we took the median gap between hands for tables of the same game.

Speed: 26 s, Korean Speed: 27 s
Super Speed: 19 s, Korean version: 20 s
Lightning: 35 s, Korean version: 38 s
Golden Wealth: 38 s, Korean version: 40 s
Prosperity Tree: 40 s, Korean version: 43 s

Matched game for game, the Korean tables were 1~3 seconds slower per hand. The records cannot tell whether longer announcements or something else causes it. Evolution describes a Speed Baccarat round as 27 seconds and a standard round as 48 (Speed Baccarat page).

Outcomes looked alike. Banker share (ties excluded) was 50.60% over 5,315 Speed shoes and 50.79% over 4,282 Korean Speed shoes, either side of the overall 50.68%. The presenter's language changed the pace a little, and no clear difference showed in how often Banker and Player came up.

4.Dedicated tables: why lobbies differ from site to site

Page 10 of the annual report says basic agreements give access to generic tables shared by many sites, while larger agreements can include dedicated tables and native-speaking dealers. A dedicated table is used only by that site, and its studio look, graphics, brand and language can be set to the site's needs.

Sites pay a monthly fee for dedicated tables. So a Korean table seen in one site's lobby may not exist in another's. The lobby above also had one dedicated Speed table carrying the site's name.

A Korean table in a lobby only means the site takes that table, not that playing from Korea is permitted.

In Korea, Article 246 of the Criminal Act makes gambling punishable (Korea Law Information Center). This post assumes play only where local law allows it.

Q.Does Korean Speed Baccarat have different rules from regular Speed Baccarat?

A.In our records the visible difference was about one second per hand, and the Banker share sat around the overall average. Check the payout table in the help screen inside the table.

Q.If the game screen is set to Korean, does the table switch to a Korean presenter?

A.Only the text changes. To get a Korean presenter, pick a table whose lobby name starts with Korean.

Q.Do other sites have the same Korean tables?

A.Generic tables are shared by many sites, while a dedicated table exists only at its site. Check the table names in the lobby.
