On October 8, 2026, the monthly exam calendar on Q-Net, the site of Korea's national skills agency, is crowded for October. It lists the craftsman round 4 written exam pass list on the 7th, practical exam sign-up for the same round from the 12th to the 15th, and the 37th licensed realtor exam on the 31st.
The same day, Google suggestions for side hustle certifications included 'side job certifications', 'best side hustle certifications' and 'side hustle courses'. The top five YouTube videos had about 406,000 views between them.
Most videos and posts list certification names.
This post looks at the calendar instead. It counts how many days it takes from the first sign-up day to the final result, using dates from official schedules in South Korea.
We picked three Korean national licenses often named as side jobs, all run by HRD Korea with dates and fees public on Q-Net: Electrician Craftsman, Vocational Counselor Level 2 and Licensed Real Estate Agent.
Day count: days between the first sign-up day and the final result. Study time varies, so it is left out.
The dates come from Q-Net's 2026 annual exam schedule (technical license schedule) and each exam's own page. Failing the written stage pushes you to the next round, so the dates below are the shortest path, passing on the first try.
Written exam sign-up ran from August 24 to 27. The written exam was held between September 16 and 21, day 23 from the first sign-up day. The written pass list came out on October 7 (day 44), practical sign-up runs October 12 to 15, and the practical exam runs from November 14 to December 2.
There is a gap of almost two months between the two stages.
Round 4's final result is on December 11, 109 days after sign-up opened. Fees are ₩14,500 for the written exam and ₩106,200 for the practical, ₩120,700 in total (Electrician Craftsman page).
The practical is hands-on: about 4 hours 30 minutes of conduit and wiring work and a sequence control circuit. That is why most of the fee sits on the practical side.

Written sign-up ran from July 20 to 23, and the written exam from August 7 to September 1. The written result came on September 9, day 51.
Practical sign-up opened on September 21, 12 days after the written result, and the practical exam runs from October 24 to November 13. The final result for the group that includes this license is December 18.
It is the longest of the three.
Vocational Counselor Level 2 takes 151 days from the first sign-up day to the final result. Fees are ₩19,400 written and ₩20,800 practical, ₩40,200 in total (Vocational Counselor page).
Sign-up ran from August 3 to 7, with extra sign-up for empty seats on October 1 and 2. Part 1 and part 2 are taken on the same day, October 31, which is day 89. The empty-seat window closed four weeks before the exam.
The result comes on December 2, day 121. Fees are ₩13,700 for part 1, ₩14,300 for part 2 and ₩28,000 for both together (Realtor exam page).

Electrician Craftsman and Vocational Counselor have no official schedule for when work can start after passing. Of the three, only the realtor license has steps set by law.
Article 3 of the Enforcement Rule of the Licensed Real Estate Agents Act says the provincial governor issues the license within one month of the result notice. A December 2 result means early January at the latest (Enforcement Rule).
Opening an office requires practical training first, and from January 1, 2026 that training is 45 hours (Enforcement Decree, Art. 28). Assume 8 hours a day and it ends on the sixth day.
After an application to register the office, the authority sends written notice within 7 days. A new realtor still has three steps after the result: the license, 45 hours of training and the registration notice.

As of October 10, when this post goes up, written sign-up for all three 2026 exams has closed. Craftsman practical sign-up from October 12 is only for people who already passed the written stage.
When we checked on October 8, Q-Net's annual calendar showed only 2026 dates. The 2027 round dates will come with the agency's exam plan notice.
Some exams do not wait for fixed rounds. Twelve on-demand items, such as forklift and excavator operation, Korean cooking and baking, open sign-up by round, and computer-based written results appear as soon as the test ends.
On-demand sign-up is first come, first served. It can fill up before the window closes. For on-demand exams, note the day sign-up opens before the exam date itself.
A.Each Q-Net exam page shows the passing score (60 points) and fees. This post did not check official pass-rate figures for each exam, so it gives no number.
A.Counting restarts from the next round's sign-up. In 2026 the regular craftsman written sign-ups opened in January, March, June and August.
A.Q-Net's on-demand exam notice says the written exam is waived for 2 years from the written pass announcement.
Hiddenpick is a Windows program that keeps on its server the betting rules that pick owners do not make public, and runs them as they are on the PC of the person who received them through a referral code. It currently runs on Evolution live baccarat at Stake (stake.com). Unlike a side job that takes months of exam prep, it runs while the PC is on, and the baccarat odds it cannot change are in the baccarat bot guide. We are recruiting national pickster representatives, and those selected receive benefits worth $12,000, a one-year pass (apply at hiddenpick.my/pickster).
